Sea chests with lousy, worn—or no—beckets are common place. This pair was expertly made with tradition handle bars ending in Turk’s Head knots, and the loops of finely worked marline. Finished with a uniform brown paint, these are not showy, but are quality. These are smaller than many that you see, and measure about 6 inches long and a little less than 4 inches wide. They will look nice on smaller sea chests, and are absolutely solid with very little wear. Fine.
