Item P28 - Stanley No. 90 Bull Nose Rabbit Plane.

Long a favorite of cabinet makers, this small (4” long) compact and rugged plane can work in tight places, on its sides, and with the nose piece removed, as a true bull nose plane. This example will clean nicely, having much of its nickel.  The 1 inch wide blade is long and carries a notched rectangle Stanley logo.  Note that this plane has one part, the blade fixing screw (seen in the picture below) which is copper plated, without the usual nickel plating.  George Wanamaker (Gristmill.  No. 166, March, 2017) ascribed this to manufacture just at the beginning of WWII, when copper was still available, but nickel was scarce.  Good+
