The 190 series of Stanley rabbet planes have spurs which puts them a cut above the 180s series that lack the spurs. This example of the 190 has good spurs that seem not to have been used (a mistake). This number is in the largest width—1 ½ inches. The 191 is 1 ¼ inches wide, and the 192 has a 1 inch wide cutter. This one has a SW blade from the 1920s and most of its original japanning, its depth stop, etc. It will clean to Fine.
