This excellent panel gage is not marked with a maker’s name, but was obviously made by a talented craftsman...It has a fence that has an 8” bearing surface to register against panel edge and a 24” stem to allow the marking of veneers or other panels up to 24” wide. The steel point is raised on a pad to hold the stem above the work piece. A steel thumb screw is protected from the stem by a solid wooden shoe. A hang hole in the far end of the stem was made for easy hanging storage. It is Fine.
