Item B9 - Millers Fall No. 1710 Ratchet Bit Brace.
Not a
particularly old brace, this model, marked by Millers Falls was made in this
configuration (half boxed ratchet, stained hardware handles, toothless alligator
jaws) from about 1949 into the 1980s. I suspect this example dates to the
1950s. It is clean with perfect handles and is very clean with its original
polished steel finish. In the 10 inch sweep, this will be a very serviceable
brace. Fine
