Item BP1 - Sargent No. 507 Open Sided Rabbeting Block Plane.
A tough plane to find, especially in this condition, this rabbeting block
plane with open sides is a uniquely Sargent type. This example has nearly all
of its original japan and nickel finishes, with a thick original blade. The
plane is without fault, excepting some small owner initials stamped on one side
rail near the heel. It is tough to find a better example. Fine.
