Item BP4 - Stanley No. 60 ½ Low Angle Block Plane.
A favorite low angle block plane for working on the end grain of smaller
projects, the No. 60 ½ has blade width of 1 3/8 inches. This example hales from
the 1960s, having the blue finish of that era. Except for the worn finish on
the lever cap, this example is in decent user condition. The blade is long and
clean, and the shiny sole has only suffered a micro-chip from the back edge of
the mouth that will not affect use. The blade is near full length and is marked
with the notched rectangle Stanley logo. Good+
