This B&S vernier depth gauge comes with both its original 6 and 12 inch blades, and suffers only three very small bits of corrosion on the 12 inch blade, and a very elaborate owner’s engraving on the back of the 6 inch blade (that does not detract). The inch scales on the blades are graduated to 1/64ths and read, with the vernier, to 1/1000 ths. It is a useful depth gauge for any shop. The gauge, in the B&S 1929 catalog, lists for $22.30; equivalent to about $408 of today’s inflated dollars. Fine.
